Known under the codename BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle), the vehicle will be significantly smaller and cheaper than the Opel Ampera plug-in electric hybrid, priced from €38,300 ($52,510) in Germany. | Non-Running but Fairly Clean 1978 Lotus 503 Elite for sale in Kansas Posted: 18 Apr 2014 12:56 PM PDT  This old 1978 Lotus may look very clean, but that's because it's made of fiberglass and it doesn't rust. However, it's not a runner, its brakes are bad and there are several other things wrong with it too. Model-wise it's a 1978 503 Elite (the earlier Type 75), of which 2,535 were built from 1974 to 1982. Read more »    |

It's an odd one, with its absurd price tag and precious stones and metals incorportated in its construction, but it does promiese to also be very fast and use an unusual engine for this type of car (770 horse twin-turbo 3.7-liter flat-six) that has all the makings of a great sounding unit. Alongside the Octavia, the automaker will also unveil the Rapid Spaceback Xindong and the urban version of the Yeti SUV.
