If you check out Mercedes-Benz' passenger car lineup, the only models that do not offer at least one AMG edition are the B-Class and V-Class minivans/MPVs and the GLK. As the brand's sportiest SUV, the upcoming MLC (the name has yet not been confirmed) could not be left without an AMG-badged version to go against the BMW X6M that's due for a replacement next year, and it is this model that our spies nabbed testing in Germany. Peugeot is rumored to be considering a slightly smaller, three-door version of its 2008 crossover that would compete with Renault's upcoming Kwid SUV. Positioned below the 2008 in Peugeot's lineup, a three-door crossover version would use a shorter version of the 2008's platform, which means it would be approximately 3,900mm (153.5in) long, making make it about 300mm (11.8in) shorter than the 2008. The current generation VW Golf, the seventh one ever, has received pretty good reviews, no matter which version of the hatch was tested. Basic versions made sense in their own way, and so too did the models higher up in the range.
