| Skoda Celebrates 40 Years Since its First RS Model Posted: 31 May 2014 11:25 AM PDT  Skoda RS models are known nowadays as performance versions of production vehicles like the Fabia and Octavia, but the Skoda RS story began in 1974 with two racing cars: the Skoda 180 RS and 200 RS. Even the RS initials have something to do with motorsport, standing for Rally Sport according to Skoda historians. Read more »    |

That silver car had other wheels and a different looking exhaust, while this new black one comes with a quad-pipe setup at the back. Read more »    |
| New Bill Could Make Late Recalls Much More Expensive for Automakers Posted: 31 May 2014 08:00 AM PDT  So, it seems GM's (decade-long) screwup regarding their failure to recall cars they knew had a life-threatening problem made additional waves – check out the story here and make sure you watch Jon Stewart's video at the bottom of the page for extra background. Currently, the manufacturer is liable to pay $35 million (the maximum possible), in the form of a civil fine, but if a group of senators have their way, it could be raised to a more noticeable $300 million.
