| Chevrolet Unveils Three Stylish Full-Size SUV and Truck Concepts at SEMA Posted: 04 Nov 2014 03:04 AM PST  Chevrolet has brought to SEMA three stylish concepts based on its full-size family of SUVs and trucks: the Silverado High Desert, Tahoe Premium Outdoors and Suburban Premium Outdoors. Chevrolet Silverado High Desert concept Based on the Silverado High Country crew cab and featuring a flexible, lockable concept storage system in the cargo bed, the Silverado High Desert concept gains a unique chrome grille with horizontal chrome bars, halogen projector headlamps and body-color front and rear bumpers. Inside, the study features an exclusive saddle brown interior as well as heated and cooled perforated premium leather front bucket seats with High Country logos on the headrests. Other details include the Deepwood Green exterior color with Oxide Gold and Russet accents, body color door handles and mirror caps and a custom grille insert. The bed features a stylized sport bar with an integrated, stop lamp and LED cargo bed lighting. Performance features include a custom exhaust system, Brembo six-piston front brake calipers, brake pads and 16-inch slotted rotors. The High Desert concept rides on Chevrolet Accessories 22-inch aluminum wheels accented with Oxide Gold and Russet accents. The truck is powered by the 420hp 6.2-liter V8 mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Chevrolet Tahoe Premium Outdoors concept Based on the 2015 Tahoe LTZ 4WD production model, the Tahoe Premium Outdoors concept adds a more stylish exterior appearance and more luxury inside. The bodywork features a unique Black Ice color with Cool Tinted accents, as well as body-color door handles and front fascia. A concept grille insert, 22-inch aluminum Chevrolet Accessories accented wheels and retractable running boards complete the exterior updates. Inside, the Premium Outdoors concept has leather-trimmed black and Saddle-colored appointments, with contrasting Petrol Blue piping. Further enhancements include Cool Tinted accents, a suede-trimmed headliner and contemporary loop-carpet floor mats. The interior also features Chevrolet Accessories illuminated sill plates. The study is powered by the 355hp 5.3-liter V8 with an enhanced sound courtesy of a Borla exhaust system with a chrome, side-exit exhaust tip. Chevrolet Suburban Premium Outdoors concept Finally, the Suburban Premium Outdoors concept features similar styling tweaks as the Tahoe study, but it comes with the larger 420hp 6.2-liter V8. The vehicle has a Pepperdust color with Warm Tarnished accents, along with body-colored door handles and front fascia in place of the standard chrome components. The leather-trimmed Saddle and Cocoa-colored cabin with Mustard piping contributes to a more luxurious ambience, but the main highlight is the concept tailgating package in the cargo area that includes a big-screen, smart HDTV, along with a handcrafted table and benches made of wood salvaged from deconstructed Detroit homes.
