However, even after it will be put out of production, there will still be plenty around to break up for parts or salvage, refurbish and even modernize as extensively as you wish, kind of like what Kahn Design has done with the diesel one shown here or the more extreme (and much faster one) with the elongated front section. Rob from Superspeeders explains what happened: "Driver collides with NYC curb and breaks front wheel off of SLR Mclaren, then continues to drive for 8 blocks including two left turns to his destination. $300,000+ in damage.
