Ram Muscles Up with New 1500 Rumble Bee Concept, Comes with an Encased Real Life Bee… Posted: 17 Aug 2013 08:37 AM PDT The Chrysler Group is paying homage to the Rumble Bee Ram pickup truck on its tenth anniversary with a new concept study at the annual Woodward Dream Cruise that takes place today in Detroit. Just like the original production model, the Ram study is inspired by the Super Bee muscle car of the late 1960s – early 1970s with a flashy two-tone yellow and black color theme inside and out. Based on a 2013 Ram 1500 R/T, the two-wheel drive model sports a bespoke "Drone Yellow" matte finish swathed in gloss black highlights and stripes, with other touches including the Mopar ground effects kit and 24-inch wheels. Inside, Ram's designers opted for black and Drone Yellow leather sport mesh seats with two-tone yellow/light-grey stitching, adding "Rumble Bee" lettering and Ram logos on the seats, floor mats and door bolsters. The illustrious story of the two-door models will continue on the same path, albeit with a new designation: M4. German Sports Car Builder Wiesmann Goes Under Posted: 17 Aug 2013 06:19 AM PDT Martin and Friedhelm, the two brothers behind the Wiesmann sports car brand, seem to have it wrong this year, as reports are just in that they have filed for insolvency at their local court in Münster. Founded in 1988, the company first began building custom hardtops for convertibles, making their first car in 1993. Their current range consisted of three models, all of which used BMW powertrain components. Read more » |
