| EVO Reviews Audi RS7, Praises Its Engine, But Can’t Call it a Driver’s Car Posted: 03 Aug 2013 08:01 AM PDT  It's funny how the term "muscle car" has kind of lost its meaning in recent years, when referring to new models, as the automotive industry has moved on. Whereas in the golden days (1960s – 1970s), Americans (and Australians, occasionally) were renowned around the world for their fast in-a-straight-line muscle cars, Europeans, and in particular Germans, were hard at work engineering their models to be the very best at absolutely everything, including (and especially, in the case of BMW) being great driver's cars. | Oh, Russia: We Definitely Weren't Expecting That Posted: 03 Aug 2013 07:00 AM PDT  Sometimes cars flip over when another vehicle T-bones them, sometimes because of the condition of the road or the car and sometimes due to a driver's inexperience. The rollover featured in this Russian dash-cam video was one we truly weren't expecting, especially given that the driver wasn't speeding and there wasn't any other car involved. Read more »   |
| Suzuki Denies Make Up Talks With Volkswagen Posted: 03 Aug 2013 06:05 AM PDT  Not more than three days after Reuters reported that Suzuki and Volkswagen "resumed talks about how to resolve a dispute about a partnership deal," a new report has now been released that denies the claims. Also posted by the German news agency, it quotes the words of Executive Vice President Toshihiro Suzuki, who seems pretty adamant about the whole thing. He explained that he was aware that "there have been various reports," but added "there are absolutely no such facts." Read more »   |
