| Watch Acura NSX Prototype's Test Runs at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course Posted: 04 Aug 2013 10:35 AM PDT  We're still waiting for footage of the new Acura NSX prototype's quick lap around the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio, that was completed moments ago ahead of the Honda Indy 200 (3:30 PM EST) race, but just to get you into the mood, we have two fresh videos of the Japanese coupe running around the circuit. The first one was filmed by YouTube user cboardman40 who captured a video of Acura performing a test lap on the Ohio course on Friday, while the second one is the full-length promo with all the bits teased in previous days. | Mercedes-Benz CW 311 Supercar, aka Isdera Imperator Prototype for Sale in Germany Posted: 04 Aug 2013 09:05 AM PDT  An ultra-rare classic Mercedes-Benz CW 311 prototype (originally conceived as a rival for the Ford GT40) is up for sale in Germany, for just under one million euros. It's the car that Mercedes didn't want to put into production, and so, in order for it to still get made, the very low volume Isdera brand was born – their own variant, called Imperator 108i, was a direct descendant of the Mercedes model. | Chris Harris Proves a Point by Towing Ford Fiesta ST with Mercedes G63 AMG Posted: 04 Aug 2013 06:13 AM PDT  We appreciate most of Chris Harris' video takes on cars, and we think most are balanced enough to be taken seriously, even if the story itself is usually told in an amusing fashion, it's always thought-provoking in some way and worth-watching. There's no downside, then, to just poking a bit of fun, and taking two interesting mainstream vehicles from opposite ends of the size, power and price spectrum, and putting them together… especially if it's done in the name of science. | Pagani Wasn’t The First Manufacturer to Use the Zonda Nameplate Posted: 04 Aug 2013 05:24 AM PDT  Pagani is now probably the boutique supercar manufacturer of the moment, and while their top (and currently only) offering, the Huayra, trails some rivals in terms of performance (though not by a lot), they also offer stunning design and great craftsmanship which looks better than anything else I've seen. Moreover, the name Zonda is nowadays synonymous with the Pagani brand, yet apparently, it's not one of their own… Read more »   |
