Get to Know the New 2014 Cadillac CTS Through a Fresh Set of 90 Photos

Posted: 19 Sep 2013 05:05 PM PDT

The soon-to-be launched 2014 CTS is the most interesting Cadillac sedan since…well, you might think we're going to say the first generation CTS of 2002, but we're not, as our vote for this place goes to last year's ATS compact executive saloon, and that says a lot about the well-being of the wreath-and-crest brand these days. First Video Test Drive of New Alfa Romeo 4C

Posted: 19 Sep 2013 04:35 PM PDT

With a starting price of around £45,000 (€54,000 or US$71,600) in England, the new Alfa Romeo 4C isn't exactly affordable to the masses, but it's the cheapest, brand-new, mid-engine sports car from Italy, and that must count for something.

It does for us at least, and we were intrigued to learn that the first test drive of the new 4C from someone other than anyone affiliated with the Fiat Group (i.e. Giancarlo Fisichella) has surfaced online. The winning publication is Holland's Autoweek, and yes, it's in Dutch, but there are English subtitles.

Unbelievable Accident with Careless Driver Running Over Girl who Walks Away!

Posted: 19 Sep 2013 01:42 PM PDT

Warning: This video contains content that some viewers may find disturbing

A vehicle running over any living being is something most people do not want to watch, and rightfully so. The only reason why we are posting this video of run-over incident is that the pedestrian, who appears to be either a teenage girl or a young woman, got up and walked away by herself.

Call it sheer luck, divine intervention, or whatever else you want, and regardless if she sustained any non-life threatening injuries (hopefully she didn't), this girl should consider herself extremely fortunate for being alive after such a horrific incident.

No Surprises Here: Peugeot Boss Says Hot 308 R with 266HP is Very Likely

Posted: 19 Sep 2013 01:02 PM PDT

We recently posted a video review of the all-new Peugeot 308, where we said it gave us the impression that it's still not a complete match for the class leaders, and its biggest rival is (still) the Opel/Vauxhall Astra. However, there's one thing still missing from the formula: a hot hatch derivative. Read more »

Posted: 19 Sep 2013 12:37 PM PDT

Even though we're approaching the time when we should be asking where will Smart lift the covers off the new generation of its ForTwo city car, we're still wondering how the styling lessons learned from the 2011 ForVision and 2012 ForStars concepts will be applied to the production model. We're sure you know the Eurofighter Typhoon, the jointly-developed European answer to the challenge of making a modern multirole fighter airplane. It's a very agile aircraft, thanks to the fact that it was engineered to be stable, and computers control the movement and angle of its canards and ailerons so as to keep it going straight, or turning on a dime. Whenever a new sports car maker pops up, we're always interested and intrigued, especially if their products are of the kind one can realistically think about buying in this lifetime, without resorting to petty crimes

At least that's what we hope will be the case with the new Zenos E10 sports car, a vehicle which in principle sounds very appealing, promising ultra-lightweight construction, typically nimble handling and over 300 horsepower per ton.

Lister Cars Says it's Back in Business

Posted: 19 Sep 2013 09:27 AM PDT

Lister is a familiar name on the British sports car scene, even though they have not made a road car bearing the three oriental swords badge (that's what it looks like to me) in 25 years.

They were famous for making the 'Knobbly' Jaguar, which was an updated design based on the classic D-Type, with various modernized solutions brought to it over the years. You may also have heard about Lister Storm supercars/racing cars too, which at the time of its launch, came with the biggest V12 engine ever fitted to a production car (a seven-liter unit sourced from Jaguar).
