Posted: 13 Mar 2013 05:19 PM PDT

If you're not a professional spy photographer, the chances of randomly meeting up with a prototype on the road are rare to zilch – depending on your location, even more so if you're travelling at night when it's far more difficult to spot lightly camouflaged models.

Yet these two gentleman in a 2013 Audi S6 (that's the one with the 414hp / 420PS 4.0-liter TFSI V8), were able to tell apart a 2014 Porsche Panamera test car – likely from the LED lights at the back and the tweaked nose up front.

Not that we're looking at something we haven't seen before, since as it turns out, there's nothing remotely conceptual about Citroen's so-called Technospace Concept that's on display at the Geneva Motor Show as we speak.

Posted: 13 Mar 2013 03:41 PM PDT

Electric vehicles have been a viable alternative to the gasoline and diesel norm for decades. However, it was corporations and the abundance of oil, which ultimately blocked EVs' way into the mainstream. Still, each and every part of car history has some sort of attempt at making a feasible electric car, and in the 1990s, Peugeot seemed to be very close. Read more »

Posted: 13 Mar 2013 02:35 PM PDT

Back in 2011, Volvo launched the S60 sedan and V60 estate in Europe, yet it was only the former that actually made it to the floors of US showrooms.

Stateside dealers argued that in the face of falling wagon/estate sales, there was no need for it. However, their then-numerous range has shrunk to only four models in the US, and now dealers think there is room for the wagon in the range, after all, according to an Autonews report.

Posted: 13 Mar 2013 01:32 PM PDT

The A5 coupe was proof that familiar Audi styling cues didn't necessarily have to be associated with an understated (some would day boring) look and simple shapes to be successful, and it was a much-needed dose of sexiness in a range of very similar cars. Read more »

This means the cardinals haven't agreed yet on a successor for car-loving Pope Benedict XVI, who resigned last month.

Facebook user VMax 200 posted a photo, which seems to be a genuine picture of the all-new 2014 Range Rover Sport. Although the car may be mistaken for a tuned version of the Range Rover, there are some details that prove it's the real thing.

Take the front bumper, for instance. It looks exactly like the one in these spy photos we posted last month. The more inclined windshield is also a good clue, as are the more elongated headlights and the slightly smaller glasshouse.
