Both images show the Corvette Stingray Convertible from a 3/4 profile angle, with or without its soft-top in the upright position. Read more » |
Spyker's Geneva Motor Show B6 Venator Concept and Plans for a Saab Based Model Posted: 02 Mar 2013 03:13 PM PST Dutch automaker Spyker has been in the news over the last two years, but not because it produce any new models, or concepts, but due to their failed endeavor of buying Saab. The move turned sour, and Spyker was left in debt and struggling. Does This Image Preview a Geneva Motor Show Debut, and if So, Which One? Posted: 02 Mar 2013 12:13 PM PST When they're not out hunting for prototype cars with their cameras, the crew over at Chris Doane Automotive LLC occasionally use their free time to share cropped pictures of soon-to-be released new models. We think that's the case with this image that they just published on their social media channels, though, we can't be absolutely sure since there's no information accompanying the picture. Peugeot RCZ View Top Concept by Magna Steyr Shown Ahead of Geneva Posted: 02 Mar 2013 11:36 AM PST The Peugeot RCZ is a car that puts all of its eggs in a styling basket, and thus it attracts a certain kind of buyer – though, it definitely doesn't have the mass appeal of the similar Audi TT or Volkswagen Scirocco. However, it is bound to get more interesting if Magna Steyr's open-roof version of the RCZ will make it to market with its clever sliding/folding roof mechanism shown in the photos below. Foolish Moscow Drivers Cause a Multi-Car Accident and then Drive Away… Posted: 02 Mar 2013 10:31 AM PST A road rage incident between two senseless drivers on Wednesday afternoon (February 27, 2013) ended in a multi-car crash on Russia's Moscow Ring Road. Footage shot from a dashboard-mounted camera of a vehicle that was not involved in the crash, shows the drivers of what look like an older generation Ford Focus Station Wagon and a Lada model trying to pass each other. Farewell Old Lady: Last Corvette C6 Rolls Off the Kentucky Assembly Line Posted: 02 Mar 2013 09:36 AM PST On February 28, GM's Bowling Green factory, in Kentucky, produced its final example of the C6 Corvette – not that anybody would have noticed, since the spotlight now only seems to follow the new C7 Stingray, to the point where nothing else is visible. The car had been in production since 2004, and in its 9-year production cycle, some 215,100 units were made. Read more » |
New VW Golf Variant / Jetta SportWagen, This Is It Posted: 02 Mar 2013 07:50 AM PST Just last night, we brought you a set of spy shots of a camouflage-free (well, sans the tail lamps) of the next iteration of the Volkswagen Golf Variant, which depending on the country you reside in, may also be called Golf Wagon, Golf Estate or Jetta SportWagen. Regardless of the name, it's the same car and we now have pictures (likely digitally enhanced by VW) of the final production version. Read more » |
Say Hello to Kia's New Geneva Motor Show-Bound Provo Concept Posted: 02 Mar 2013 06:38 AM PST Kia's surprise debut for next week's Geneva Auto Salon is a secret no more, at least in what concerns its appearance and name, after photos of the concept car surfaced on the internet today. The car is named Provo and it's a study for a sporty looking three door hatchback, described by the Korean maker as a "racy new urban concept". No other information is available on the Provo, but if you don't mind us playing the speculation game, we'd say Kia might be cooking up a sporty challenger for the Mini Coupe. Read more » |
