Pininfarina Sergio May be Made in a Very Limited Production Run

The Pininfarina Sergio, named after the former chairman of the company, who passed away last year, was one of the most striking concepts at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. Its low-slung, windscreen-less roadster body, striking nose and overall barchetta shape bears little resemblance to the Ferrari 458 on which it's based.

Luckily, you might just get to see one of these on the road, in the not-so-distant future, as a report from Autonews Europe indicates that it may enter a very limited production run of no more than six examples.

Dacia Range May Gain Larger Sedan and City Car, But Not in the Next 18 Months

The Dacia brand, recently launched in the UK, is currently doing quite well in all markets where it is present. The latest generation of the Logan and Sandero have already gone on sale, completing a range which includes the Duster SUV, Lodgy MPV and the Dokker commercial vehicle.

In addition, a new model was revealed at this year's edition of the Geneva Motor Show, the estate version of the Logan, called the MCV.

You could say that a Formula 1 driver will find it hard to have fun in a series-production road car, after being used to F1's extreme sensations. But we're talking here about the 570HP Ferrari 458 Italia, arguably one of the best mid-engine sports cars available on the market right now.

Scuderia Ferrari drivers Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa took the car for a spin around the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona to see how it handles.

Scoop: Mercedes-Benz Takes Next S-Class to New Lengths with S600 Pullman

After giving the Maybach brand the death sentence, Daimler and its Mercedes-Benz unit had to come up with a new solution to cover the über –luxury limousine segment.

Once again, the answer to this problem came from Mercedes-Benz's past and more specifically, the W100-codenamed 600 Pullman, which in its original form, was produced in limited numbers from 1964 until 1981.

Mercedes-Benz will resurrect the 600 Pullman moniker for the most luxurious version of the new W222 S-Class. In these fresh spy pictures, we see the new S600 Pullman parked next to the regular S-Class, which itself will be introduced on May 15.

In what should be alarming news for automakers, teens in the United States today are more into smartphones, computers and other gadgets than into cars. Fewer 16-year-olds are getting their driver's licenses today than 30 years ago as their smartphones and computers help them remain in touch to other teenagers. Read more »
