What makes the ninth concept model developed by Hyundai Motor Group's R&D Center in Namyang, Korea, particularly interesting is that according to the automaker, it's design and technical specifications hint at its "next-generation luxury sports coupe", by which Hyundai means the replacement to the Genesis Coupe.

Posted: 20 Mar 2013 04:24 PM PDT

Working as a customs officer, one intercepts a huge variety of goods that would have otherwise illegally made their way into the country. However, aside from drugs, bombs and various common items of contraband, apparently exclusive cars are also a target for shady entrepreneurs.

For instance, in the Philippines, McLaren isn't currently officially present, and it is therefore impossible to simply go out and buy a MP4-12C supercar, if you are inclined to do so.

Consumer Reports Airs Pilot Episode for 'Cars' Chat Show

Posted: 20 Mar 2013 03:33 PM PDT

Consumer Reports is one of the most trusted (and trust-worthy) automotive reviews sites. They pride themselves with actually being able to test a car in detail, not by borrowing it (not that there's nothing wrong with that), but by buying it. So, if you want buying advice, CR is a good place to start your inquiries.

Now, the publication's automotive testers have aired the pilot episode for a new chat show, called 'Cars', where viewers phone in and ask for advice. The three hosts then begin asking questions themselves, before both them and the caller agree on a course of action.

We already have a modern interpretation of the E-Type, in the form of the very pretty Eagle Speedster, but that still retains the same design elements of the classic.

Experienced rally-goers (of the automotive, not the demonstration type) usually try to pick a good spot on a race course where they can observe the racecars as they pass by.

This group of spectators at the Race Rent Cup 2013, which took place in southeastern Poland earlier this month, chose one of the best spots, as they had more than their fair share of spectacular incidents caused by the slippery conditions of the road that led to a number of racecars into a ditch.

However, all these things add up and cost time and money, which is something that doesn't sit well with all companies, especially if there's an easier solution…
