| This is the All-New Infiniti Q50 Sports Sedan [Updated Gallery] Posted: 12 Jan 2013 06:43 PM PST  Previously, we showed you a cropped photo of the new Infiniti Q50's rear end, which most of you rightly guessed, but now it's time to share the first full blown pictures of the car that will replace the G series sedan in the Japanese brand's lineup. At least one of the images appears to have come from Infiniti's consumer site in Canada, while we also get a view of the Q50's rear quarter profile. Read more »       |

| GM Wants New Corvette to be More than a Car for "Successful Plumbers", be a Poster on Kids' Walls Posted: 12 Jan 2013 08:59 AM PST  Even though it started as a young American's dream car, somewhere along the way in its 60-year old history, the Corvette lost its edge and fell behind rivals. GM execs agree with analysts such as Edmunds' Jessica Caldwell who say that the 'Vette is thought today as "an old man's car": the data show that last year, through October, around 46 percent of Corvette buyers were 55 years or older compared with just 22 percent of Audi R8 and 30 percent of Porsche 911 clients. The all-new seventh generation of America's first supercar, which will be launched tomorrow ahead of its 2013 NAIAS world premiere on Monday, is tasked with turning its image around with a new bodywork, drastically improved interior and a new 6.2-liter V8 engine that, with 450HP and a sub-4.0 second 0-60 mph (96km/h) time, will make it the quickest base 'Vette ever.

| DAMD's Lexus LFT-86 is a Toyota 86 / Scion FR-S in Disguise [w/Video] Posted: 12 Jan 2013 07:33 AM PST  Even if you wanted to, you can't ignore all the customized and conceptual Toyota 86 sport coupes that are on display at this week's Tokyo Auto Salon in Japan. We don't know whether Toyota should worry, but a great number of tuners focused their efforts on altering the appearance of the rear-wheel drive coupe that's marketed as the Toyota GT 86 outside of Japan and the Scion FR-S in North America. While the students at NATS gave the 86 an Audi R8-esque look and Toyota's own Original Accessory sub-brand a classic feel, the always-imaginative crew from Japan's DAMD decided to turn their 86 into a mini-me Lexus LFA calling it the LFT-86.     |

| Evo Samples New Porsche 911 Carrera 4S on Austria’s Best Road Posted: 12 Jan 2013 05:02 AM PST  Truth be told, 911 purists mostly considered the all-wheel drive version of Porsche's icon to be less desirable than the rear-wheel drive model as the latter had a better steering feel. The same lot was disheartened to learn that the new model, aka the 991, has switched from a hydraulically assisted to an electric power steering in the name of fuel economy. Read more »   |
